Quiet Americans for Kindle (and Other Updates)

April 19, 2011

We are immensely proud to announce that Quiet Americans, a short-story collection by Erika Dreifus that was published in paperback by Last Light Studio last January, is now available for the Kindle! (And did you know that you don’t need to own a Kindle to read books in this format?)

It’s a delight, but for us, not a surprise, that Quiet Americans is attracting enthusiastic fans in its new format just as it has in its initial one. In fact, on April 10, Jan Zlendich named the e-book her Frugal Kindle Reader Pick of the Day. (Thanks, Ms. Zlendich!)

Quiet Americans is also fast becoming a book-club fave. The Jewish Book Council (JBC), among others, recently selected it for discussion. Since the JBC’s chat took place online, you can revisit the transcript here. (For anyone considering Quiet Americans for a future club choice, Erika has posted information and discussion questions on her website, too.)

We’re so proud of Erika and her book, and we’re especially gratified to know that, as Erika recently explained on her blog, our support–and yours–continues to help a very good cause.
