Two Weeks In: Raves for Quiet Americans, by Erika Dreifus

February 2, 2011

We’re delighted with the reception that is being accorded to Quiet Americans, the new LLS short fiction collection by Erika Dreifus. Honestly, it’s a bit tough to keep up with the press, Erika’s jam-packed virtual book tour, her schedule over the next several days “in real life” in Washington, or the giveaways (at the moment, via Goodreads, via Facebook, and via Fiction Writers Review, which is featuring Quiet Americans as its current “Book of the Week”). Fortunately, Erika is as talented an organizer as she is a writer, and she is keeping us all informed.

Congrats, Erika, and please continue to keep us posted. (By the way, Quiet Americans is now available for purchase via,, IndieBound, and by ordering a [signed] copy from the author. As we’ve mentioned before, Erika is donating portions of the proceeds from book sales to The Blue Card, which supports U.S.-based survivors of Nazi persecution.)

So exciting to see all the buzz around the book! The praise is well deserved.
